Executive Medical Director
Greetings from the Executive Medical Director,
I am proud to be the Executive Medical Director at Alvarado Parkway Institute. I started my medical career here while I was still in residency training at UCSD Medical Center. Throughout the years, I have seen the organization grow and change, always keeping true to the mission of promoting wellness through intervention and treatment in a cultural sensitive environment. I choose to practice psychiatry at API because of the high quality and professionalism of individuals that comprise our team – and API is all about being a part of a team. We have the most ethical, supportive, hands on administrators anywhere and the kindest, most attentive, energized mental health workers in San Diego. API’s Team is designed and dedicated to not only providing the highest quality of care to our patients but also to our doctors and to each other. Our staff is a diverse group of highly trained mental health professionals who chose this career path because they too believe that recovery and an improved quality of life are essential to wellness.
I am honored to lead the medical staff in the care and delivery of cutting edge mental health and substance abuse treatment at API. We have a strong and active group of medical professionals who take seriously their role in helping our clients improve and in restoring their lives to the highest level of functioning possible. Compassion and respect are the hallmarks of interactions with patients and their families. Our doctors understand that new developments in in the field of psychiatry are occurring at a breathtaking pace. As individual practitioners, they are involved in a variety of treatment modalities and treatment settings which are at the forefront of this rapidly changing field.
Come join our team of professionals. We embrace like-minded practitioners who are seeking a dynamic organization committed to growth and a continuum of care which includes inpatient acute care, partial hospitalization services, intensive outpatient services, an outpatient clinic setting, and a home health agency. We are adding to our continuum of care starting in July, 2017, a short term crisis residential facility as well as an outpatient pharmacy. We are an organization poised for growth with many opportunities for a physician within our system of care.
Contact me through the administrative office at 619-465-4411 to discuss how you can become a member of our team.
