Addictive Disease Program

The Addictive Diseases and Mental Health Outpatient Program (ADOP) utilizes a bio-psycho-social model for successful treatment of those with addictive diseases and mood disorders.  We integrate a combination of evidenced based therapeutic treatment modalities with a medically supervised approach to treatment in developing an individual and specific treatment plan for each patient seeking recovery.  Motivational interviewing, cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), relational therapy (ACT) as well as emotional regulation (DBT) are conducted by highly trained therapists to provide information, education, support and coaching.

ADOP encourages participation in the community twelve-step recovery program to reinforce skills learned in treatment and to encourage participants to establish a community support network.  Family inclusion is integral to the patient’s successful treatment path.  The API team works collectively to help the patient navigate the treatment process by maximizing a patient’s existing support symptoms such as family, employer, and faith based organizations.  Aftercare groups are provided for the first year following the completion of treatment to reinforce the skills learned while in treatment.
