Executive Medical Director
Dr. Bradley Sanders has dedicated his professional career to providing psychiatric and addictive disorders treatment to the those in need living in the greater San Diego area. Board certified by the Osteopathic Board of Neurology and Psychiatry, Dr. Sanders has practiced locally for the past 25 years. He completed his psychiatric residency training at UCSD Medical Center and his medical surgical internship at Hillside Hospital in San Diego. He obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Zoology, and a Master of Science Degree in Physiology from the University of California, Riverside. He obtained his Medical Degree from the College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific. He is a member of the American Osteopathic Organization and the American Osteopathic Academy of Addiction Medicine.
Dr. Sanders’ interest in providing care to those persons who not only suffer from psychiatric illnesses but who also have a developmental disability or substance abuse issue, has led him to be the premier “go to” psychiatrist in treating persons who have complicated multi-faceted disorders. He has provided cutting edge psychiatric treatment in the home settings of dually diagnosed clients who have a developmental disability and a co-existing psychiatric condition. His expertise in the specialty of addiction medicine makes him a sought after clinical professional for the treatment of chemical dependency. He believes that a collaborative approach to working with clients and their families results in the most positive outcomes with long lasting stability of symptoms. His breadth of experience in working with a wide variety of clients and treatment settings places him in a position to work with persons from all walks of life, from all cultures, and personal belief systems. His mastery and skill at seamlessly navigating these varied and diverse clients make him an invaluable asset in the promotion of culturally competent care in San Diego.
He currently serves as Executive Medical Director for Alvarado Parkway Institute providing leadership, medical oversight, clinical acumen, and outstanding psychiatric care to those we serve.
