Whether you are in need of information, referrals or crisis intervention, our team is prepared 24-hours a day, 7 days a week to provide you with the support you need.

Our Assessment Team, made up of Registered Nurses and Licensed Psychologists, is available to do Psychiatric Evaluations either at the hospital or on site at your location.

If you, a family member or a resident at one of your facilities be in the midst of an acute mental health or substance abuse crisis and be a danger to yourself, themselves or someone else, by calling

a member of the assessment team can travel anywhere in San Diego County and help you get the care you need. They will be able to:

  • Write a 5150 hold and facilitate an involuntary admission to the hospital
  • Help you voluntarily get the Inpatient Services needed by providing transportation.
  • Refer you to an API Partial Hospitalization or Outpatient Program should Inpatient Services not be required.
  • Provide you with the appropriate referrals and resources within the community.

    The Assessment Team and Crisis Line personnel will help make hospital arrangements, with permission, communicate with family members and help make what is often a trying and difficult time as easy and comfortable as possible.
