2-1-1 San Diego -
2-1-1 San Diego
is a resource and information hub that connects people with community health, and disaster services through a free, 24/7 stigma-free confidential phone service and searchable online database. 2-1-1 serves the entire population of San Diego County.

Aging & Independent Services -
AIS provides services to older adults, people with disabilities and their family members, to help keep clients safely in their homes, promote healthy and vital living, and publicize positive contributions made by older adults and persons with disabilities.

API Discovery Clubhouse
The API Discovery Clubhouse is a no-cost, empowerment program designed by consumers for consumers. Discovery Clubhouse members are seen as individuals, not patients. Emphasis is on their skills and abilities, not limitations. Member-driven opportunities for healthy recreation, social skill development, wellness and prevention, work re-entry and community re-integration are available.

Community Research Foundation - Short Term Acute Residential Treatment (START) -
The START programs offer a residential alternative to hospitalization for voluntary adults who are experiencing a severe mental health crisis that cannot be managed on an outpatient basis and which may also include substance use.

Consumer Center for Health Education & Advocacy -
HCA is a partnership of consumer assistance programs operated by community-based legal services organizations. Their mission is to help low-income people obtain essential health care.

Depression Bipolar Support Alliance -
The Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance (DBSA) is the leading patient-directed national organization focusing on the most prevalent mental illnesses. The organization fosters an environment of understanding about the impact and management of depression and bipolar disorders by providing up-to-date, scientifically based tools and information written in language the general public can understand. DBSA supports research to promote more timely diagnosis, develop more effective and tolerable treatments, and discover a cure. The organization works to ensure that people living with mood disorders are treated equitably.

Network of Care -
Network of Care is a website dedicated to improving information and communication in the health and social services fields at the community level. Network of Care is a comprehensive resource for individuals, families and agencies concerned with behavioral health. Network of Care provides links to state and county agencies and other local human service entities to establish a one-stop information website that is highly interactive and community-based.

Pathfinders -
Pathfinders of San Diego are a non-profit organization that provides residential alcohol-recovery services for men. Pathfinders offers alcoholic men a new life of sobriety through a supportive environment and the guidance of others in recovery using a program known as social-model recovery.

San Diego NAMI -
NAMI is the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to improving the lives of persons living with serious mental illness and their families. NAMI provides support, education and advocacy as well as links to services in the community. NAMI’s Friends in the Lobby is scheduled to visit the API lobby every Saturday from 2pm to 4pm. Friends in the Lobby is a volunteer program designed to connect those who are visiting loved ones in the hospital with resources that can increase their knowledge and support for mental illness. 

State of California Department of Mental Health -
The California Department of Mental Health (DMH), entrusted with leadership of the California mental health system, ensures through partnerships the availability and accessibility of effective, efficient, culturally competent services. This is accomplished by advocacy, education, innovation, outreach, understanding, oversight, monitoring, quality improvement, and the provision of direct services.

The Department of Health Care Services -
The Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) works closely with health care professionals, county governments and health plans to provide a health care safety net for California’s low-income and persons with disabilities.

US Department of Health & Human Services Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) -
The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration's (SAMHSA) mission is to reduce the impact of substance abuse and mental illness on America's communities. In order to achieve this mission, SAMHSA has identified 8 Strategic Initiatives to focus the agency's work on improving lives and capitalizing on emerging opportunities.
